Family Friendly Restaurants

Avenue 31

This is a rare breed of restaurant that manages to tick all the boxes: great Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, a cozy ambiance and totally family-friendly. Not only will pushchair-wielding mammas be welcomed with open arms, but kids are actually invited to enjoy special theme days throughout the year. Think temporary airbrush tattoos, DIY bookmark making for back to school, and a bowling competition! Avenue 31 are also completely social media savvy, so ‘Like’ them on Facebook for regular updates on kids’ activities. The food gets a very big thumbs up as well!

Stars ‘n’ Bars

It’s big, so there’s plenty of room for the kids to burn off some energy. There’s a games room to keep them occupied while you guzzle down that Pinot Grigio, and friendly staff don’t mind the critters running around their feet during service. In the summer there is even a dedicated team of childminders who will sit with your kids and do drawings or activities. Stars’n’Bars is an oldie but a goodie and is ideal for a casual pub-style meal and catch-up with friends.

Cipriani

It’s true what they say, Italians really do love kids! Here’s another great Italian restaurant that not only accommodates children, it actively seeks them out! Cipriani hosts an impressive range of fun kids classes including art lessons, baby music, and even cooking classes! Booking and prepayment are essential, so check out their Facebook page for dates.
